The main feature of the band’s sound are two basses: a «regular» bass and the tuba, which is a very interesting way to interact in lowercase. Silaev plays in a band on the trumpet, dissecting its sound in the most unexpected ways – just like his foreign colleagues Erik Truffaz and Nils Petter Molvaer. Electronic jazz with ethnic patches Silaev remains cinematic and atmospheric and when listening creates a lot of visual images.

At the festival he will perform with legendary vocalist Sergey Starostin, who for more than a quarter of a century which actualizes Russian folklore by means of jazz, rock and world music. Dreamy and somewhat melancholic  Silaev’s music plus folk songs performed by Starostin – an unusually intriguing combination!
